Terms of Service

1. Acceptance

By using TranscribTxt ("the service"), you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, do not use the service.

2. The service

TranscribTxt provides AI-powered transcription of audio and video files. We offer a free tier and paid plans. Plan limits (files per month, minutes per month) are described on the pricing page and enforced automatically.

3. Accounts

You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account credentials. Notify us immediately at support@transcribtxt.com if you suspect unauthorized access.

You must be at least 13 years old to create an account.

4. Acceptable use

You may not use TranscribTxt to:

• Transcribe content you do not have the right to process
• Violate any applicable law or third-party rights
• Attempt to circumvent plan limits or abuse the free tier
• Reverse-engineer or scrape the service

We reserve the right to suspend accounts that violate these rules without notice.

5. Payments and subscriptions

Paid plans are billed monthly or annually via Stripe. Subscriptions renew automatically. You can cancel at any time from your dashboard — your plan remains active until the end of the current billing period, after which you revert to the free tier.

We do not offer refunds for partial billing periods.

6. Your content

You retain full ownership of the audio, video, and transcripts you create. We do not use your content to train AI models. Audio files are deleted immediately after transcription. See our Privacy Policy for details.

7. Service availability

We aim for high availability but do not guarantee uninterrupted service. We are not liable for losses caused by downtime, transcription errors, or data loss. Use the service at your own risk for critical applications.

8. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, TranscribTxt's total liability for any claim arising from use of the service is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months preceding the claim.

9. Changes to the service or terms

We may update these terms or modify the service at any time. Continued use of the service after changes are posted constitutes acceptance. We will notify registered users of material changes by email.
